Jim Abbott, Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) and Professional Plan Consultant (PPC), is a Vice President and Wealth Advisor with Claro Advisors where he is dedicated to helping his clients plan for their financial futures in a way that best meets their goals. Whether planning for retirement, saving for education, or looking to preserve and grow wealth, Jim is there to help.

Jim, an NHL draft pick by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2000, graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2003 with a Business Administration degree and went on to play professional hockey for several years before entering the financial services industry. Jim was with Wells Fargo Advisors in Boston before he made the decision to join Claro Advisors in October 2017.

Jim is an active member of his local commuity and is involved with several organizations, including The Friends of UNH Hockey, The Boston Hockey League, The Eastern Hockey Federation and Associated Builders and Contractors.
